FREELANCE SURVEYORS

McCluskey Surveyors is a small, independent, family-run firm. We are on a mission to make home surveys more accessible to everyone. We believe every person deserves to know that the roof over their head will keep them, and their families safe. We provide access to free education through our Resource Hub so people can make informed decisions, offering ultimate peace of mind.

We understand the importance of making a house a home, and how moving or renovating can be extremely stressful. Here at McCluskey Surveyors, we prioritise the client experience, and tailor our services to meet the needs of individuals.

McCluskey Surveyors has now been practising for three years and as a result of a significantly increased workload over the past 18 months, we are now looking for a Freelance Surveyor to join our husband-and-wife team.

We offer a range of services including:

We primarily provide services across Torbay and South Devon, South Hams, Teignbridge, Dartmoor, Exeter and Plymouth. However, we are willing to support clients further afield, if we have Surveyors available in those areas. In order to work with us, you would need access and use of your own vehicle. We are happy to discuss equipment requirements on an individual basis.

We are keen to hear from Surveyors with a range of backgrounds and experience. We offer an inclusive environment, where those we work with are trusted to work in partnership with clients, working together to provide safe, practical solutions. We are keen to support those we work with to build creative working environments, leading to the highest level of support for our clients.

Working hours can be flexible to fit in with your lifestyle. We are fortunate to live and work in a beautiful part of the country and believe that those we work with should be able to benefit from our surroundings. We therefore encourage flexible working whereby a survey on Dartmoor or by the coast can be followed with some time outdoors, presenting a time for reflection.
